Why work at WIAN?
WIAN is a thriving digital start-up that seeks to influence the international sector and support aspiring international female professionals. By tackling the inequities in recruitment for international roles, and equipping women with the skills, knowledge and social capital to progress - we support the next generation of female professionals throughout their careers.
We work in collaborative teams and enjoy a work ethic and culture intentionally cultivated through our dedication, passion and conviction for a more equitable international workforce. Our vision is an ambition one, but we are a small but mighty team that spans the globe. We invest in ourselves and our organisation, which translates to more access and better knowledge and programmes for our community. We hope you can join us and be a part of our mission.
How we work.
All staff members work remotely (home-based), with some in a voluntary capacity. Our staff volunteers are based in Africa, Australasia, continental Europe as well as the UK. Each member of our team is motivated by their passion to dismantle gender and youth inequality in the international sector, and we accommodate their schedules through flexible working hours.
All WIAN vacancies will be advertised on this page - we do not accept unsolicited CV's or requests to volunteer or intern. We believe in equal opportunities, and welcome applications from all genders, levels of experience and candidates from under-represented groups. For any further inquiries, please contact the Recruitment team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Who we look for.
We are always on the lookout for candidates that want to build from the ground up, with good time management skills, a strong ability to take ownership of their role and thrive under a macro-management culture. As the leading start-up in this industry, we are keen to employ self-starters, innovators, individuals that can spot and create opportunities, can balance multiple priorities, roll their sleeves up - and get stuck in!
