Job Description

This role will be instrumental in developing the culture of Inclusiv Education as an emerging global social enterprise in the EdTech for international development sector. It will focus on setting up people frameworks and processes tailored to Inclusiv Education as it enters a period of organisational growth funded by investment and in response to global need for more flexible approaches to education and training for the world's most marginalised learners. The role will design, support and deliver human resources processes and initiatives aligned to an Inclusiv Education People Plan and in response to key P&C priorities. The role will transfer best practices from Save the Children's P&C team and introduce new initiatives to support IE leaders in the management of the Employee Lifecycle across the Inclusiv Education operations. It will provide accurate and efficient generalist support, coaching to staff and middle managers, and the delivery of People, Culture and Quality projects in-line with the needs and objectives of Inclusiv Education.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications

 Essential Knowledge, Experience and Skills: 

• Demonstrated experience in a broad generalist HR role, in addition to project coordination 

• Exceptional internal and external stakeholder engagement abilities, with highly developed verbal and written communication skills 

• Demonstrated experience in managing and providing sound advice on performance issues, grievances and other ER issues 

• Experience coaching and building capability of people leaders 

• Highly developed interpersonal and intrapersonal skills 

• Strong resilience and emotional intelligence 

• Strong time management and organisational skills, with high-level attention to detail 5 

• Sound ability to effectively understand, manage and mitigate risk 

• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines 

• Experience in working in a diverse and remote workplace 

• An understanding of current and historical social impacts on diverse groups within the community We would love you to have: 

• A qualification in a relevant area, such as Human Resources Management (orsimilar), though significant relevant experience will be considered as an alternative 

• Experience in education, technology and/or international development settings 

• Experience or understanding of the community services or not-for-profit sectors 

• Experience or understanding of technology start-ups and/or edtech and the development arena
