About this position: 

The Public and Stakeholders Engagement department is looking for a Liaison Assistant to cover a broad range of activities involving our stakeholders. 


In this role, you will be working to various degrees in the following activities:  

  • Contribute to the preparation of the overall teams’ activities in the department (stakeholder engagement/medical and health information);

  • Provide support to fulfil the Agency’s engagement strategy with the relevant stakeholders by facilitating their participation in the different EMA  activities;

  • Prepare, organise and track participation of relevant multi-stakeholder meetings, workshops, webinars, trainings etc;

  • Provide support for systematic review of relevant EMA communication materials and their publications;

  • Support systematic exchange of information with EU Regulatory Network and international partners in the context of Early Notification System (ENS); 

  • Answer queries from the EU Regulatory Network, relevant stakeholders and the general public pertaining to ENS communications, stakeholder engagement and general queries from healthcare professionals and patients;

  • Support activities related to reporting (work programs, annual reports etc ).

General conditions:

  1. Full rights as a citizen of a European Union Member State, Iceland, Liechtenstein or Norway;

  2. Thorough knowledge of English (at least level C1) and a satisfactory knowledge of another official language of the European Union (at least level B2);

  3. Fulfilled any obligations imposed by applicable laws concerning military service.  


Specific conditions: 

  1. A level of post-secondary education attested by a diploma, or 

  2. A level of secondary education attested by a diploma giving access to post-secondary education, and appropriate professional experience of at least three years, or where justified in the interest of the service, professional training or professional experience of an equivalent level.  


For general condition 1 and for specific conditions 1 and 2 you will be required to provide proof in the application form and at the interview stage. Failing to present these documents may result in the disqualification from the selection procedure. 


Only candidates eligible will be assessed by the selection committee in accordance with the Assessment Criteria below.


You will need to have:

Appropriate professional experience of up to three years in:

  • providing administrative support;

  • dealing with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.


Skills and Knowledge:

  • Have a thorough knowledge of English including in writing of at least C1 level
