Job Description

The International Trade Centre (ITC) assists developing and transition countries to take advantage of expanding trade opportunities in an increasingly complex global environment. ITC supports ‘Trade Impact for Good’, promoting sustainable and inclusive development goals through trade.

The Sustainable & Inclusive Value Chains section (SIVC) has developed programme approaches across environment and gender in agri food value chain projects. These include the assessment of climate risks, market analysis, capacity building and gender issues. These methodologies and tools are housed within the Green to Compete initiative and provide both in house management and analytical services as well as provision of global public goods.

GreenToCompete is ITC’s activator to transition to a green economy that nurtures both people and the planet. Through GreenToCompete, we provide knowledge, expertise, and networks to MSMEs in developing countries to develop a competitive advantage by going green. GreenToCompete promotes trade that is climate-smart, fosters biodiversity and promotes truly circular production cycles.
