To co-ordinate and enhance Embrace’s publications and editorial processes to deliver an excellent shared service for the whole organisation to create visually engaging print resources. Working under the overall editorial direction of the Head of Communications, but working creatively, collaboratively and sensitively with the Digital Co-ordinator and with the Public Engagement, Programmes & Partnerships, and Trading Teams, and the Strategic Communications Group.
Role and Responsibilities
Co-ordinate and project manage the production of print communication materials (including but not limited to the magazine, prayer diary and study guides).
Co-ordinate the print and digital advertising schedule for Embrace and Embrace Trading.
Support and maintain the Charity’s visual brand identity and writing style.
Support and maintain the marketing collateral, including case studies and photographic resources.
Work with the Digital Co-ordinator to deliver the digital communications programme including through social media.
To support the Charity in every way possible to fulfil its vision and charitable aims.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications
Good general education up to at least degree level or equivalent.
Good working knowledge of MS Office, in particular Word, Outlook and image editing programmes.
Competent use of Photoshop or similar.
Excellent knowledge of the print production process.
Excellent copy editing and proof-reading skills.
Outstanding organisational skills and good time management.
The imagination to proactively generate new ideas, coupled with design flair and the ability to produce visually engaging content.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills – the ability to tailor the organisation’s messages to different audiences, provoking interest and prompting action.
Able to share knowledge of print communications with colleagues.
Previous experience of co-ordinating print communications.
Able to follow established standards for new asset creation.
Editorial / PR / Marketing / Communications qualification or accredited course.
Ability to use video editing software (e.g. final cut)
Experience of MailChimp or similar.
Knowledge of the Middle East and the countries where we work
Understanding of social media channels.
Experience of social media marketing for a not-for-profit organisation.
