We are looking for an experienced social policy researcher who understands how to develop evidence-based policy solutions and how that links through to advocacy and campaigning. You will be line managing two members of the team so should have some management experience. You should be a self-motivated strong team player with an understanding of the gender policy issues we work on and also someone who thrives on being part of a small, dynamic, collaborative team.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications
Experience of commissioning, managing and undertaking qualitative and qualitative research
Experience developing evidence-based solutions, adopting an analytical approach.
An understanding of campaigning for policy change and/or influencing at parliamentary or local government level.
Experience of project planning
Experience of relationship management and developing and maintaining partnerships, alliances or coalitions.
A strong understanding of UK gender equality issues and women’s rights and the wider social, economic and political context.
Experience of line-management of staff and volunteers. Experience of managing a budget and reporting to funders.
Educated to degree level or above.
Experience of securing grants and income for policy and campaigning work.
Knowledge of UK sex equality and employment law.
Experience of working in a small organisation.
Experience of working in the voluntary sector in some capacity (this could be voluntary).
