The Programme-Communication Associate is expected to effectively promotes the work of UN Women in Indonesia within the context of Women’s Economic Empowerment Program.
The Programme-Communication Associate covers primary tasks as outlined below and works in daily coordination with the Communications and Advocacy Officer, and the Women’s Economic Empowerment team.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications
Knowledge of best practices in communication; including in content creation.
Excellent writing and editing skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia
Familiarity with of women’s rights is an advantage
Basic to moderate skills in graphic design
Previous experience in working with UN agencies or other international organizations is an asset.
Demonstrates integrity by modelling the United Nations' values and ethical standards;
Promotes the vision, mission, and strategic goals of the UN and UN Women;
Displays cultural, gender, religion, race, nationality and age sensitivity and adaptability;
Ability and willingness to work as part of a team to meet tight deadlines and produce high quality work;
At least BA in communication, management or development related areas – Mass communication, Public relations, Economics, Public Policy, Development Management etc;
5 years of progressively responsible experience in providing support to the formulation and implementation of internal and external communications and advocacy strategies and related plans;
Experience in the use of computers applications and software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc) as well as web-based management systems;
Experience in the use of social media and digital communications;
Experience in graphic design, photography and photo editing and/or web design is an asset;
Fluency (written and spoken) in English and Bahasa Indonesia is required.
