Mainstreaming Biodiversity in International Development and becoming a Catalyst for Change
ABOUT THIS EVENT
Join us for the final part of our two-part virtual event series titled 'Pathways: Careers in Development, the Environment and Sustainability'. This session will focus on "Mainstreaming Biodiversity in International Development and becoming a Catalyst for Change". We'll be speaking with senior female professionals about building careers in international development, peace-building, disaster management and migration, and the important role the environment plays in these sectors.
We'll be sitting in with Alice Ruhweza, Regional Director for Africa at the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), and Soma Chakrabarti, Gender, Social Inclusion and Climate Change consultant with various United Nations agencies, including IFAD and the FAO.
This virtual session will be moderated by Nadine Bowles-Newark, Deputy Head of Programmes at the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP-WMC).
